MFCL was legally registered as a Limited Liability Company under companies’ ordinance (Cap.212) in Tanzania on 15th September 2008 and issued an incorporation certificate number 67334. MFC has recorded a remarkable growth over the past years in its cereals business and managed to serve corporate contract customers from World Food Programme (WFP), Tanzania Breweries Limited (TBL) & Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL).

The company currently owns 3 retail outlets in Shinyanga, Musoma and Mwanza. Including 121 professional staff and 12 distribution trucks which are being used to supply products all over the country and nearby countries.

Our mission statement is to provide the best products to our esteemed customers. This shall be achieved by doing the following:

• 1. Consistently increase in production capacity.
• 2. Provide the permanent market platform to our suppliers/farmers of both levels.
• 3. Provide our staff with capacity building schemes to sharpen their skills.
• 4. Improve staffs’ financial benefits v. Improve our machinery capacities with new technologies requirements.

In our five years’ (2020-2024) business plan, among other things, MFCL plans to achieve the following key objectives:

1. 1. To secure an overdraft facility with a maximum of TZS 10,000,000,000 for working capital to be used for crop purchase for scaling up of processing capacity and sales volume from the current 115,718 MT in 2019 to 182,853 MT by 2024.

3. 3. To acquire a term loan amounting 100 million from a financial institution for the procurement of pallets for accommodating the increased produce to be procured.
4. 4. To meet the market demand of the products through expansion in processing facilities, enhanced working environment, increasing distribution facilities and introducing retail outlets.
5. 5. To be able to penetrate the Eastern and Central Africa markets by supplying demanded quality products.
6. 6. To meet international quality standards for all products of the company by increasing food hygiene and safety.
